Data Governance Strategy Consultant First San Francisco Partners is looking for experienced data management professionals to lead data strategy and data governance engagements for leading companies. This person would use First San Francisco’s proven assessment and workshop program to deliver high value data governance strategies. Responsibilities include: Lead Data Governance Assessment engagements and workshops based on FSFP’s methodology Manage client expectations and relationships, establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues Present architecture solutions and value-added services, complying with the Company’s data management policies and procedures Facilitate sessions for business requirements gathering, data capturing and analysis, and business rule identification Engage in software evaluations from a data measurement and monitoring perspective Create data governance strategies and deploy recommendations Facilitate change management processes Contribute to corporate data governance and administration programs Identify new services opportunities within customer base Requirements: Experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Quality, Master Data Management and Data Warehousing Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills Experience gathering data, soliciting information and synthesizing feedback Ability to facilitate small group (up to 20) discussion and decision making  Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with multiple and sometimes conflicting personal agendas Professional on-site consulting experience, preferably with a large systems integration firm or for an enterprise software services arm  Minimum of a Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field required Compensation: We offer competitive salary and benefit packages.
