Practice Leader - Product Data Management First San Francisco Partners is looking for a highly motivated entrepreneurial individual to head the operations of the software implementation side of our Product Data Management practice. This is a high growth opportunity in a rapidly expanding market space called Master Data Management. Responsibilities include: Opportunity scoping and proposal/SOW preparation and presentation Contract negotiation with Customers, Partners and Contractors Consultant/Contractor recruitment and staffing Utilization and profitability management Managing project quality and customer satisfaction New client development, assistance in PIM and PDQ pre-sales opportunities Participation in PIM and PDQ Project Kick-offs to ensure each project gets on the right track from the start Participation in regular reviews on PIM and PDQ Projects (requirements docs, design docs, status reports, etc.) Project delivery as a Solution Architect on PIM and PDQ Projects when required Participation in data and architecture assessments relating to Product Data Assistance in creating and improving methodologies, approaches and other content Assistance in scoping PIM and PDQ implementations and drafting PIM and PDQ Proposals for clients and potential clients Assistance to create compelling PIM, PDQ and Product Data sales and marketing materials Requirements: Proven track record in managing high growth services organizations Ability to develop internal standards, methodologies and metrics for data management implementation services Understanding of Data Management, including technology solutions and business issues Demonstrated ability to position and promote complex solutions to Customers and Partners Strong problem solving skills working in demanding environment Experience working with cross-functional and cross-organizational (vendors, clients, partners) teams Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent leadership and management skills Background with large Consulting companies a plus Minimum of a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field required Compensation: We offer competitive salary and benefit packages.
