OAKLAND, Calif., August 6, 2020 — First San Francisco Partners (FSFP) is pleased to announce that Catherine Ruef earned the Collibra Ranger Certification.
The Collibra Ranger Certification, the most comprehensive credential Collibra offers related to the field of data intelligence, is awarded to individuals who have deep experience in driving the operationalization and adoption of Collibra in organizations.
Through the certification process, the individual gains an understanding of the Collibra framework and best practices for implementing a Collibra environment.
As a prerequisite to the Ranger certification, it is required that individuals complete lower levels of certification that test their knowledge, including the Data Steward, Workflow Engineer, Integration Engineer and Solution Architect certifications. During the final Ranger certification, individuals must use their prior knowledge to demonstrate their deep understanding of all aspects of Collibra functionality, including best practices to ensure successful implementation and long-term maintainability of content within the tool.
Catherine describes the value of Ranger certification in this way:
Completing my Ranger certification provides the confirmation and confidence that I am aligned with the best practices and thought processes that Collibra recommends. The training that is required — combined with my real-world Collibra experience — provides me with all the tools needed to translate almost any use case to a functioning Collibra implementation.
