Inspire Inclusion March 8 and Every Day
Did you know that each March 8, people worldwide celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD)?
Originating in 1911, Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland initiated this annual event to honor women’s rights — including the right to work, vote, receive training and hold public office — and to end discrimination. (It was March 19 initially.)
FSFP has actively participated in International Women’s Day for several years, contributing our thoughts on women in the workplace, our industry and the broader world. Here are our reflections on this year’s IWD theme of inclusion: Inspire Inclusion on International Women’s Day 2024 — and Every Day.
Year-End Thoughts and Some for 2024
Time flies when you’re working in data management and governance, so it’s not too late to share 2023 reflections in Growth, Gratitude and Our Vision for 2024.
You’ll also find brief recaps from three client engagements and three big ideas we’re talking about for 2024:
- Enterprise resource planning initiatives and how data is everything
- Artificial intelligence (much more to say on AI in a new blog series)
- Diversity in data management (see the invite to a special interest group we’re supporting alongside our friends at DATAVERSITY)
Meet Stephanie Paradis on Our Blog and at EDW
Our newest Meet the Team spotlight article features Senior Consultant Stephanie Paradis who joined FSFP in 2021. We welcome you to spend a few minutes learning about Stephanie and her interests and specialty areas, including her Collibra Ranger certification.
One fun fact about Stephanie that’s not in the article is that she’s one of our company’s presenters at Enterprise Data World (EDW) in March. (Find other FSFP speakers here.) Stephanie’s topic, Generative AI for Data Governance and Business Transformation, is one we believe many people will find thought-provoking. If you’re attending, grab your seat early and say hello to Stephanie.
